A friend of mine decided that we would make great roommates in college, and proposed that we move into a town house that her parents had recently bought near the campus we were studying at. I liked the idea of being a tenant with them, and said yes before I even gave myself a chance to look the place over. When it came to move in day, I took one step in and had to laugh. Not because there was anything particularly wrong with the house or bad, but because there was a kegerator sitting in the dining room. Apparently the previous owners did not move it out, and her parents wanted to see if we wanted it first before they disposed of it. It was in proper working order, so it seemed a real shame to toss out. We agreed to keep it even though we did not drink that much alcohol to make good use of it. We decided to put lemonade in it instead.
